Liverpool F.C. Player Nominated For PFA Award

Liverpool F.C. attacker Philippe Coutinho has been nominated for the most prestigious award available within professional football, the PFA Young Player of the Year Award, thanks to his participation and performance during this previous season. The Brazilian has stood out as a top performer for the Liverpool team throughout 2014-2015, scoring six goals within 45 appearances.

Coutinho, much like Anfield forward Luis Suarez 12 months ago, was nominated for the impressive award. His actions have earned him the chance at being shortlisted for the aforementioned achievement. The prize is said to be presented on Sunday, April 26th. Also vying for the PFA award are Diego Costa, David De Gea, Eden Hazard, Harry Kane, and Alexis Sanchez.

Alongside Coutinho, Raheem Sterling, also of Liverpool F.C., was nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year Award. It will be interesting to see exactly which player manages to walk home with the award in the end.
