Husband And Wife Hit Back-To-Back Holes-In-One On Same Hole

The chances of it happening are 26 million-to-1, but a Michigan couple claim they hit back-to-back holes-in-one at the same hole in Grand Ledge. Tony and Janet Blundy were golfing on Sunday at Ledge Meadows Golf Course when Tony sank a hole-in-one at the 16th hole. Janet followed it up with a hole-in-one on the same hole and the happy couple began their celebration!

While they can claim to have made the shots, there were independent witnesses that have verified the shots. Tony said, “If nobody would have been around, nobody would ever believe us. We’ve been laughing about it every time we think about it. It’s so unbelievable that it could happen.”

Golf contest prize insurer National Hole-in-One Association did research in 2013 and determined that the chances of two golfers in a foursome making a hole-in-one on the same hole in the same round is 26 million-to-1. The odds would be even higher for a twosome doing it!

The happy couple said they usually golf 18 holes together every week, so they definitely have some practice under their belts. Congratulations to the both of them!
