Holly Madison always seemed bubbly and happy in front of the cameras during her marriage to Playboy magazine founder and owner, Hugh Hefner. In her new book, the former Playboy bunny reveals that life wasn’t all wine and roses at the famous Playboy Mansion and that there were even times when the blonde bombshell thought about suicide.
Holly Madison’s new memoir, entitled Down the Rabbit Hole is meant to lift the veil on the Playboy Mansion. The memoir is meant to give the American public a look at a life most people assume is near paradise for some of these girls. While some people might think it’s all fun and games for the Playboy bunnies, the book promises to detail the “oppressive routine of strict rules, manipulation, and [Holly Madison’s] battles with ambitious, backstabbing bunnies“.
The depression that stemmed from those strict rules as well as Holly always having to be aware of possible treachery led the model to think about suicide more than once, according to excerpts from her book. Instead, Madison left the mansion and Hugh Hefner behind. Holly Madison, now 35 is married to Pasquale Rotella and the couple have a young daughter named Rainbow.
