Emirates Are Recruiting In Australia And Have VERY Specific Guidelines

Emirates is an airline owned and operated by Dubai’s Investment Corporation in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and they are currently looking for cabin crew members from Australia. It is the perfect job if you love travelling, but they’ve got some very specific requirements that candidates need to meet before they’ll even be considered for a job.

Emirates held a recruitment day in Sydney this past weekend, and people wanting to be part of the cabin crew need to follow a long list of guidelines. Firstly, all cabin crew members must have a arm span of at least 212 centimeters whilst on their tiptoes, be at least 160 centimeters tall (5′ 3″), and have no visible tattoos whilst wearing their uniform.

For their application photos and on assessment day, females must be comfortable wearing high heels, have clean manicured nails, and have neatly tied hair. Women must also wear makeup and their signature red-colored lipstick, but not lip gloss. Men must be clean shaven, have relatively short hair and use little to no product, and must also have clean manicured nails.

If women opt to wear a skirt on assessment day, it must be one-inch below the knee, and wear full hosiery. No potential cabin crew members are allowed to wear glasses, and contact lenses must have no color.

Thankfully, even though this list of requirements is long, employees have a pay that everyone dreams of – tax free! Other benefits include an attractive discount on Emirates flights for friends and family, meaning they’ll receive cheaper flights to the 159 destinations Emirates flies to.
