Eli Roth And Keanu Reeves Team Up For Home Invasion Thriller ‘Knock Knock’

The filmography of writer/director Eli Roth is admittedly limited but at the same time it remains an unforgettable collection of eerie and highly creative horror movies. From his auspicious beginnings with the isolation/flesh-eating-virus thriller Cabin Fever to the first and second Hostel movies that made everyone in America afraid to backpack through Europe, the graduate of NYU film school has certainly left an indelible mark on the horror world. And by the looks of his new film, it doesn’t look like he’s going to slow down anytime soon.

Roth’s newest cinematic venture is called Knock Knock. The film stars Keanu Reeves as a loving husband and father who lets two wayward young women into his home on a lonely, rainy night. Events escalate very quickly, but after his wild evening with the two female strangers he writes it off as some crazy experience he’d rather forget. But just when he thinks he is safe, his visitors return have have some more fun with him. The film also stars Lorenza Izzo and Ana de Armas and is due in theaters on August 13th.
