Chinese CEO Provides French Vacation For 6,400 Employees

Every once in a while, “the establishment” or “the man” looks out for the little guy. In this case, CEO Li Jinyuan of the Chinese conglomerate Tiens has provided his 6,400 best salespeople with a vacation to Paris. The generosity was meant to mark the 20th anniversary of Jinyuan’s company.

The vacation for all ended in a parade along France’s Cote d’Azur, also known as the French Riviera, which is the Mediterranean coastline of southeastern France. In this parade, the employees gathered in an attempt to break the world record for spelling out a phrase with human bodies. The employees wore identical blue hats and blue T-shirts, and arranged themselves to spell out “Tiens’ dream is Nice in the Cote d’Azur”. (Nice is the city alongside the French Riviera.)

As of yet, it is uncertain whether they actually broke the world record. People have estimated that the entire trip costed around $14.5-$22.3 million.
