Student Purchased Website “KanyeForPresident” Five Months Ago And Is Looking At A Serious Payout
One incredibly smart student may become an extremely rich very soon. He prematurely purchased KanyeForPresident.com almost five months ago, and that should earn him quite a pretty penny. The student, Tramall Ferguson, has already been offered $80,000 for the domain, which he purchased for just a few dollars. Ferguson has to be excited right now, as that buy-out could pay off his student loans and still have some left over.
Kanye recently announced, at the 2015 VMA Awards on Sunday, that he wanted to run for president in 2020. While it seems his announcement was made while he was high, we’re not too sure whether he was actually being serious. Regardless, it took the internet by storm.
According to reports, the 24-year-old student purchased the domain name ‘on a whim’ back in April. He also purchased PeterGriffinForPresident.com and a couple of others, too.
Tramall is said to be waiting for a call from Kanye West himself, which may not be unlikely at this point. Tramall will probably be offered quite a bit more money by the time this is all over with.
