McDonald’s Unveils New Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich

McDonald’s is still trying to beat out its competition and continues to add healthy and tastier options to their menus. The fast food chain just introduced its new Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich earlier this week.

The Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich will replace the crispy chicken patties that are used in McDonald’s McWraps, Deluxe Chicken Sandwiches, salads and snack wraps. The new sandwich will be a part of McDonald’s national menu and will be added to franchise chains in a few days.

McDonald’s Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich is 100% white meat chicken breast that has been marinated and battered in buttermilk with tasty spices such as onion powder, black pepper and garlic. It is a 580-calorie sandwich that is topped off with mayo, tomatoes and lettuce. The sandwich will cost around $4.50.

With chicken becoming such a popular item at fast food chains, the new sandwich could help boost McDonald’s declining sales.
