Janice Dickinson Sues Bill Cosby After He Denied Raping Her

Janice Dickinson decided to sue Bill Cosby after the comedian team accused Dickinson about lying about Cosby sexually assaulting her in 1982. The supermodel filed a suit against a 77-year-old comedian for defamation, false light and intentional infliction of emotional distress, according to court papers obtained by People Magazine.

Janice Dickinson, like over three dozen other Cosby victims, recently publicly disclosed that she was drugged and raped by Bill Cosby,” Dickinson’s lawyer wrote in the complaint. “In retaliation, Cosby, through an attorney, publicly branded her a liar and called her rape disclosure a lie with the intent and effect of revictimizing her and destroying the professional reputation she’s spent decades building.” Dickinson came forward with her story last year with more than forty other women after a decade of allegations and rumors.

Dickinson claims Cosby flew her from a shoot in Bali, India, to his home in Nevada where he offered her red wine and a pill after she complained about menstrual cramps. She saw “Bill Cosby mounting me, like the monster that he was,” she claims. “I remember more specifically waking up and that … there was a lot of pain downstairs. There was semen all over me and my pajama bottoms were off and the top was opened. At that point – fight or flight – I just packed up and got the hell out of there.
