Man Found Guilty Of Possessing Fish Porn

A man from St Neots has been found guilty and sentenced in court for the possession of pornography involving a fish. Nelson Nazare, a 45-year-old male from Manor Grove, was given a six week suspended sentence by Huntingdon Law Courts for the illegal porn videos that he had on his mobile phone

Nazare was also sentenced for harassing his wife after his marriage had broken down in May and he had continued to approach her after she had asked him to stop. The threatening behavior continued, as he was waiting outside her home in a car, leading to her driving to a police station and phoning the police from the safety of her own car.

After police arrested him and confiscated his phone for evidence, they found the pornographic videos on the device. Two of the videos included sex acts with animals, one with a woman and a dog and another one showing a man having intercourse with a large fish.

According to Kevin Warboys, his defense attorney, the videos were not meant for arousal and had been sent by a friend to Nazare. He explained: “One of Mr Nazare’s friends, knowing how sad and upset he was, sent him three images in what seems to have been a misguided attempt at distracting and amusing him.” Warboys continued, “There does not seem to be any content that Mr Nazare might find arousing. He believed he had deleted them all. He had not kept them for any purpose that might be of greater concern.
