18 Of The Worst Relationships In Hollywood

Celebrity, Entertainment, Funny, Lists

Hollywood is known for a lot of things, but one is more prominent than others – drama. This drama is typically produced on a screen, whether it is through a television show or film. However, often there is even more drama behind the scenes of these productions. Sometimes this drama manifests itself by way of a romantic relationship gone wrong, a feud between old friends, or a bad working relationship with co-stars or directors. Although probably not very fun for the people involved, these relationships are hilarious to witness and read about on the sidelines.

Bruce Willis and Kevin Smith

Reportedly, Kevin Smith said that working with Bruce Willis for the movie Cop Out was “soul-crushing” and that all the problems were caused by Willis. One thing is definitely true though – both of these men have huge egos, and the tension could’ve been caused by that clash.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand

These two were quite possibly the oddest celebrity couple, and they are no longer together, which surprised absolutely no one. Apparently, Brand treated Perry terribly.

Shelley Duvall and Stanley Kubrick

Duvall was an actress in “The Shining” and Kubrick was the director. Apparently, Kubrick was so close-minded about the interpretation of the roles that he made Duvall redo the baseball bat scene over 120 times. This feud became so volatile that it literally made Duvall sick and she lost some hair!

Charlize Theron and Sean Penn

The man has a long history of violence towards women. End of story.

Megan Fox and Steven Spielberg

Apparently, Fox compared director Michael Bay to Hitler, and was fired from the Transformer’s movies very shortly afterwards. What most people don’t know is that the only reason she was fired was because Spielberg demanded it.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez

What started out as a seemingly cute teenage relationship quickly turned into a train-wreck. They aren’t together (right now) but everyone has been victim to their off and on relationship.

Edward Norton and Tony Kaye

American History X was a great film. However, director Kaye reportedly said that Norton was not the right person for the leading role.

Bradley Cooper and Suki Waterhouse

Bradley Cooper started dating Suki Waterhouse after meeting at Coachella, however Cooper recently ended the relationship because Waterhouse “wasn’t supportive of his acting career“.

George Clooney and David O. Russell

David O. Russell was such a tyrannical director that he somehow managed to ruffle the cool, calm, and collected Clooney. Clooney sent Russell a handwritten note, calling the film: “the most havoc-ridden, anxiety-ridden, angry set that I have ever witnessed,” and at one point Russell apparently head-butted Clooney.

Emma Roberts and Evan Peters

Roberts was arrested for domestic violence against Peters, and for some reason, they are still together.

Kim Basinger and Adrian Lyne

Director Lyne decided to use a very controversial method in his directing – he treated actress Basinger with such cruelty that the emotions portrayed on screen in 9 1/2 Weeks were actually real. The cast and crew claimed that the intensity between them was disturbing.

Aaron Carter and Lindsay Lohan

Most people know that Carter dated Hilary Duff back in the day, but little do they know what ruined their relationship – Lindsay Lohan. According to him, he was bored with his television star girlfriend, so he decided to spice things up by dumping her and hooking up with the young movie actress. Great start to a relationship.

Ellen Burstyn and William Friedkin

Burstyn was in the movie “The Exorcist” and reportedly had concerns about one scene, where she was pulled back by a stuntman. Friedkin secretly instructed the stuntman to pull harder, resulting in Burstyn landing on her tailbone and really hurting herself.

Rihanna and Chris Brown

These two were clearly a match not made in heaven. Any relationship involving domestic violence is doomed to fail.

Katherine Heigl and Judd Apatow

Heigl apparently was not happy with the script in “Knocked Up” and verbalized her feelings many times.

Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner

Taylor Swift and anybody is seemingly bound to fail…she doesn’t exactly have a great track record. Reportedly, they fought a lot — about ridiculous things — like food.

Tippi Hedren and Alfred Hitchcock

Hedren hated working with Hitchcock and refused to work with him after “Marnie.” However, because she was on a two-year contract, Hitchcock wouldn’t let her sign on to work with any other directors, ruining her acting career.

Robert Pattinson and Kristin Stewart

Even after she cheated on him publicly, he still took her back. Thankfully, they are done for good now, but that was a painful relationship to watch.
