While it’s true that acting is a lot of fun, it also takes a lot of hard work and real effort, which many people don’t realize. In fact, some actors and actresses have actually put their lives on the line while performing the tasks of their job. This often happens as a result of either carelessness from the crew or actor themselves, faulty set equipment, or treacherous filming conditions. Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Joseph Gordon-Levitt reportedly loved doing his own bike stunts for one of his films. However, he crashed into a taxi in New York during filming one scene and ended up with 31 stitches.

Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp was thrown off his horse during filming The Lone Ranger, and was nearly trampled to death.

Halle Berry

Halle Berry, during the filming of The Hive, fell during one of the scenes and suffered a major head injury. She was even hospitalized.
