The original Joker, Jack Nicholson, shows his disappointment in David Ayer’s choice for Jared Leto to play the Joker in the upcoming Suicide Squad movie. When the first image of Leto as the Joker was released, the internet’s reaction was less than flattering. While some Reddit commenters stood by Leto and Ayer, many were distraught and disappointed.

Giving Ayer the benefit of the doubt with his choice of Leto was expected, considering Heath Ledger was also a weird choice and he turned in the performance of his career. While a picture speaks a thousand words, Nicholson’s tears speak two thousand.

While the jury is out until the movie itself is screen by critics, Nicholson and others can dry their tears with the hopes that the rest of the cast come together to save what could be a great big flop.
