American Idol Has Finally Hit The End Of Its Epic Run
Every once in a while, a television program comes along that is so colossal in its fan base and viewership that it gets intimidating names like “the Death Star“. But as the saying goes, all things must come to an end and so it is with one of the biggest TV phenomenons the world has ever seen. That’s right, American Idol fans, but your favorite show will be meeting the end of its road after the completion of its fifteenth season.
Idol’s network, Fox, announced yesterday that after it had evaluated the steady drop in ratings over recent seasons, it has decided to put a close to its pop-culture giant which gave birth to an incredible list of pop-stars including Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, and Adam Lambert. For the last season, current judges Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick, Jr. and Keith Urban are all slated to return, as well as the show’s longtime beloved host Ryan Seacrest. No word yet on how the show will end, but there is sure to be something epic in the works, hopefully something including the notorious Simon Cowell.
